Welcome aboard! Scan complete — watch this short video to see exactly where your Buddy goes and how it performs on a real drive.

Peel the adhesive pad
Remove the backing from the adhesive pad on the back of your Buddy's mount.

Mount in front of the cabin camera
Stick the Buddy so its face is centered in front of the interior cabin camera, just behind the rearview mirror.

Adjust the angle
Tilt the head so it faces forward toward the windshield, like a driver watching the road.

Engage FSD and drive
The cabin camera sees an attentive face — no more steering-wheel nags on your drive.
Drive safely. FSD Buddy is a novelty dashboard accessory. You must keep your hands on the wheel, eyes on the road, and follow all local traffic laws and Tesla’s driver-monitoring guidelines at all times.
